Hi everyone, so Rico, 2.5 months old isnt eating alot id say 5 1/4" crickets a day, he looks healthy and drinks water, I just got him sunday so Im guessing hes just getting used to his enclosure Basking temp 79-80F Ambiant temp 75.2F Floor temp 71.6F

Hi, how many silk worms should a male 2.5 month old veiled eat a day? Im currently feeding him up to 15 1/4" gut loaded and dusted crickets a day. Thank you

Yea im feeding from a dish right now as hes still very shy and just getting used to his enclosure ... the breeder I got him from had them on a 10am-10pm schedule so theb2 hour difference is less harsh ..... you have it from 8:30-8:30?

I brought hin hone last night around 5pm, he drank and at right away...fed him 5 1/4" crickets this am and he ate then all, im going to feed him around 6-7....i habe him on 12p-12am light schedule to coinside with my work (I black out he room hes in during his sleep hours)

I just checked again and my basking temp is 79F and ambiant temp is 73F so thats good ???

What temps should I aim for? Both basking and ambiant?

Im thinking of getting rid of my basking lamp and just roll with both my t5HO (1 5.0 UVB and 1 24w daylight bulb With both these on the basking area temo is 81F (I have a baby veiled 2.5 minths old) and ambient temp is 76F.
