What watt basking bulb because that cantina is small and holds in a ton of heat? I also know the cantina has a top buble part that can come off I would recommend ditching the top bubble peice for now to help ventilation until your new cage arrives!
Definitely take all the advice in your thread, and hopefully you can restore your new Cham back to good health. When you get you new cage post another thread or look at enclosure ideas on here and make sure you get help if needed, lighting hydration and correct supplements should be number one...
You will get an email or call back and it all figured out, they are a reputable company I'm sure they are just really busy like the guy said above with the holidays.
What kind of flowers are those in that pic next to your pothos? My gf loves them and wants some color added to the cage now lol thanks. I tried a bromeliads but misting caused over watering. Orchids? Or are they just fake plants?
Oh yeah it drys out between each misting there all set about 2 hrs apart allowing dry time, the humidity drops during dry time quite a bit about 20% sometimes depending on the temp in the room. I do regular cleaning weekly since on this setup the bottom is bare beside the two plants. I just...
I honestly sat home the weekend I put this together to watch the humidity all day and set my timers to keep it at a steady 60% the first half and about 75-80% humidity mid day and then about 2 hrs before lights out I have one timer set that kicks it up to about 90% humidity, everything is dry...
Nausicah It all depends on your setup, I have mine misting most of my plants mainly my pothos to create water droplets on the leaves for drinking and to control humidity. Most people put there nozzles in one of the front corners but you can set it up how ever you like. Hope this helps. (y)
Extra money it's $20 lol and my timer is not out of site, as you can manually hit a button on the mistking timer and mist if your humidity is low hence easy access as I said and if u need to change mist settings its at your fingertips not out of site. Like I said I'm not hating I just like...
I'm not hating on the climist, I just think for an extra $20 I'd buy the mistking. If the timer on the climist wasn't a wall plug timer and didn't look so cheap I'd have no problem saving $20 but I like that the mistking timer can be put anywhere you want not just low on the wall or where ever...
Not to offend you or anything but the climist system is $110 and the mistking is $130 so u literally save $20 bucks and the climist timer looks very cheap. Why not spend an extra $20
I also was going to buy the monsoon until I read reviews of dumping your whole reservoir into the cage and flooding it, not one review many reviews. So I just payed the extra money for a mistking starter system and it's an amazing misting system no problems what so ever and it will keep your...
