You've done a great job. He looks like a completely different critter than 3 months ago in the pic from the previous owner. Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I created "splash panels" out of corrugated plastic card board stuff that I found at Lowes right there near the plexi-glass and plate glass area. I velcro'd them on the first version, but I found I should probably screw them to my frames for a better install.
Then you always want to get...
Oh I think the poor Sunny D feeder cup has been one up'd with the Tupperware cheese container. Very nice idea and thanks for sharing. I know what my next little project is going to be.
SpEr what are you enclosure temps like? I would imagine more than that being eaten each day. You should also mix up your feeders. Supers are the best of main staples for them to only eat. Do you have access to crickets or dubia / discoids?
He's probably going through a pretty big growth spurt right now. You'll notice in another few months to six months him slowing down a bit. When he gets to that year year and a half Mark there is nothing wrong with feeding him every other day also.
Until there about a year or year and a half old you can let him eat as much as they want. One thing you could try is also increasing the size of the crickets. You might get more bang for your buck.
longwinded not at all. keep it up. you are doing great. you are not paranoid. if there is what its gonna try to find its way out. i use corrugated plastic board as dividers and splash guards that i velcro to the frame. When enclosures are outside on my patio, there is only the divider.
I too was curious what you are doing w/ drainage? I really think you are on the right track your "pre-arrival" enclosure looks spectacular. Nice and full w/ the schefflera, plenty of horizontals, and an interesting stand. Is the stand something you bought or built? It appears to fit...
have a piece of plexiglas cut the size of the bottom at Lowes or Home Depot. If the plexi can rest of the edges of the screen frame, you should be in good shape. Drill a handful of wholes in the center of the plexi, and the plants will flex it enough that the water will run to the center holes...
You keep up that TLC and attention and he's gonna keep getting in better shape. Urates are the white part of his poo. Continue an assortment of feeders and a good misting and dripping schedule. You're doing great. Btw, he does like ur wife better. :p
you are going to need to re pot it. get a good organic potting soil, vermiculite, play sand, and river rock. put a layer of sand in the bottom approximate 1", then use a 50/50 mix of the soil and vermiculite to put the plant in. cover up to the top of the root ball leaving about another 1-2"...
Tatto you can check out what I did for my enclosures last month. Thread #99 shows my custom work.

Since I did this custom stand and drip pan, I built one new cage that is now 24" wide...
You are probably getting over spray and over drippage running down the screen sides and YES its dripping off the edges of the enclosure. LLL sells something that probably could help you. You also might want to get something like corrugated plastic panels to use as reflectors to keep you drips...
