Some ppk are just

Out for a little exercise while the kids played outside :D

I see more poop more of then now in his cage with good coloration and good whites (forgot what's called). But still he's too shy to let me see him feed. Today he brought up some really nice bright yellows when my wife had him at one point. Too bad it was before I took pictures. My wife says gizmo likes her more than me, I'm starting to think it's true .

Today in the morning I finally saw him feed Woohoo!
I had to hide but he went straight to his cup right after I dropped the crickets and superworms and started feeding. He did see me at one point he didn't get shy but then when he saw me again he did get shy.

So glad I finally saw him eating. Also he is shedding another part of his body, so I'm guessing he is gaining a little weight.

He's come a long way since I got him and I can't wait to see him get even more active and better

@jannb you might know this, I bought a couple of weeks ago some calciworms, I opened the container and I saw that one of them turned I to a black flying bug :p

Are they OK to feed to my chams ?

You keep up that TLC and attention and he's gonna keep getting in better shape. Urates are the white part of his poo. Continue an assortment of feeders and a good misting and dripping schedule. You're doing great. Btw, he does like ur wife better. :p

Thank you

From myself and all responsible rep keepers, thank you and your family for giving this fellow a great home.

All to often I am sad to say we see neglect, and more often than not unintentional, when I bred reptiles I would vet and educate the recipients often refusing sale.

I would also often give away offspring, if the recipients had impressed me enough with there ability to give there adoptee the best possible life.

Sadly there are still far to many breeders out there who simply do not care..

Sorry for the thread hijack and the resulting rant.

And again a big thank you. Scooby

Haven't updated for a while, been busy with work and life. But here you guys go. Gizmo has gotten even handsomer now with time. He's such a stud!.

He's not that dark anymore in his cage, he's gained weight, he is just over all awesome, I'm so glad I was able to offer him something better.

You guys can compare with the older pictures in this thread.

You've done a great job. He looks like a completely different critter than 3 months ago in the pic from the previous owner. Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

What a gorgeous boy! I'm so glad you were able to give him a good home. :)

How's your female doing?
I was actually going to ask you something.
She's doing great, she laid eggs for the first time (46), poor thing was so big from it. But on the 24th she finally laid them, I am so glad she did.

What I wanted to ask you is that when she was gravid she was black with some really cool bright colors. After she laid the eggs still I find her sometimes with those colors, she seems normal, and she's acting like always.

One thing I did noticed is that she has more gold coloring lines and blue dots even when she's green which I like a lot, before she only displayed green and some white lines.

What you think?

I posted a thread when she laid her eggs, don't know if you have seen it.

Here is the coloring she's showing sometimes (this picture is from before she laid)

Is she eating and drinking? That's very important after they they.

Those are her stress colors. Is she able to see your male? They should be totally out of sight of each other.

Yes she's drinking and eating. She now does not let me handle her .... But when I mist her she likes when I put the tip of the sprayer in her face and just let the water drip she likes to drink it like that.

She still sees the male, I am going to cover one side of the cage so she doesn't see him.

Gizmo is looking fantastic - you've done an excellent job with him! Jann's right - make sure your two can't see each other (even if across the room it will cause stress). Keep up the great work! :D
