My approach back when I was breeding veileds... in the dark ages... was to only feed every other day. That cut the clutch sizes down immediately from 50+ to about 30 (if memory serves). But I don't recall whether it changed the number of clutches per year.
Sugar gliders are pretty high maintenance the first few weeks to get them to acclimate but we're making good progress with Squibbles. Michi really does seem curious and comes over to his cage to see what's going on.
Oh, I'm a big ambilobe fan. Michi in my avatar is my first blue bar. I adopted him and although he's got a range of colors he's not "stunning." I've seen some amazing specimens of blue bar. Seriously though, with panthers they're all just so frickin' amazing.
If you like the blue, check out an...
You're on the right track. The xl reptibreeze is pretty much the standard for larger chams like that. As far as climbing/hiding/basking accessories do a google search and see what others have done. You just sort of wing it and build it up over time. You see him spending time in one place so you...
Michi much prefers to eat large winged dubia over crickets. And he won't touch the un-winged dubia.
Based on that, and the fact that they're a better value and so much easier to keep and maintain, I'll stick with the big bugs.
Captive bred Nosy Be are mostly blue and green. You'll get some red speckles in there, and some yellow, but that overall blue coloration is the charm that most people buy them for.
So we went to the Exotic Show this weekend and once I realized it was animals and not women, I found a cute new member of the family. We set him up right next to Michi's cage and it was interesting that Michi seemed curious enough to come down and eyeball him.
Although it's not very warm, at 55 degrees F the full sun should be OK for awhile. This is probably Michi's first ever exposure to direct sunlight. He seems skeptical but I think he's enjoying himself. Clouds are rolling in now so I may have to bring him in but half an hour of this is great!
You have to understand what you're buying. You're buying "Light fixtures" and "bulbs."
The light fixture's job is only to power the bulb. Fixtures such as those from LYR contain reflectors which make the output brighter than it would normally be in a regular fixture without a reflector.

Frank this is great information! The care sheet is very detailed and thorough. I'm still in love with this species ever since I got a WC pair about 20 years ago.
