Ivy and Hammy Babies One Month Old 4/10/20

Oh, I see yours hatched! Still waiting for my three to hatch, but the eggs look good. It took 11 months for panther chameleon eggs I got from @Matt Vanilla Gorilla to hatch, so it may be something about their location and conditions (in my office at work, under my desk) that results in longer...

US Veiled Chameleon Eggs (Hammy & Ivy)

@jannb just saw your messasge asking me about the eggs I got from you back in September. They look fine, have not hatched yet. Have the ones you kept or distributed to others hatched? Would that be the 28 babies you referred to on April 3? :)

US Veiled Chameleon Eggs (Hammy & Ivy)

Did you ship more eggs? The three I got from you back in August are looking great - plump and viable. My first hatching of eggs (panther eggs from @Matt Vanilla Gorilla) was a great experience. I expect this one to be as well! Thanks again for the great packing and shipping. I thought your price...

Question about developing coloration in male getting duller

I understand, now! I thought your question to @Decadancin about color progression was directed at me! Lol. I hope that’s all it is. I’m pretty attached to him.

Question about developing coloration in male getting duller

Thanks for the reply! His colors have progressed mostly brighter and deeper, since I got him at about 3 months. The only time he was very pale previously (and more pale yellowish), was when he was ill with an impaction. I had it treated, and he appears to have made a complete recovery. If you...

    Targeting issue...still

Can you confine a number of insects in a shallow, wide feeding cup, just below a branch? So that when the tongue strikes, it can’t help but hit something edible?

Question about developing coloration in male getting duller

My male panther chameleon, Karma, was sold to me as a Nosy Be. As his colors developed in the first year, he appeared to be a nicely colored Ambilobe. Which was fine (he is my profile picture). He is about a year and three months now, and recently his colors are considerably muted. My question...

After 11 months, panther babies hatched!!!

All the bugs are at work. I’m very lucky. I wear work boots and jeans to work, unless I’m in a management meeting or presenting. I have spiders, chameleons, and several aquariums in my office.

Karma is over a year old, some pictures.

I got this guy almost a year ago from @frankpayne32. He has been so much fun! The other day he really wanted out, so I let him explore my office for a while.

After 11 months, panther babies hatched!!!

When do baby panthers need to be separated? At 6-7 weeks, they still seem fine as a group. I'll post pictures after work.

    Unexpected female laying eggs

I'm not too experienced with females, but I would think it would be better for her to have a laying bin and release all the eggs asap? Is the vet you visited experienced with chameleons? I'm so glad you took her, and that she seems to be doing well. What I can tell you from experience, is that...

After 11 months, panther babies hatched!!!

Hi, thank you for the informative response! I am in North Carolina, my office is pretty well climate controlled, but occasionally it gets a bit warm. I didn't want to risk an incubator overheating. During incubation, temperatures stayed in the range of high 60s to mid-70s (rarely below 68 and...

After 11 months, panther babies hatched!!!

Thank you! It was a long wait (but worth it!) Maybe it was long because I didn’t use an incubator. I just kept them under my desk at work. I used a min-max thermometer/hygrometer, and temp and humidity seemed to stay within range. It is possible that even thought they were generally minor...
