Help needed

Hello, I have just bought my first Chemeleon which when In the tank is a light green. Anytime I have handled it it really shows a pattern down it’s side.
Does this mean he is not happy?

If you just got her she is likely to see you as a threat. They do not enjoy handling, and veiled's in general have a lot of attitude, and most hate handling, or barley tolerate it. My guy hates my guts. Because you have a female they may end out a bit more mellow, but its not recommended to handle them a lot ( especially when you first get them) Give her time to settle.

Pet stores are notorious for sexing wrong. I would have to agree with everyone your Cham looks female from the patterns she is displaying

I really does look female; send a pic tomorrow. Btw: my female veileds hate my guts, and if they could wield knifes, they’d slit my throat. Don’t take it personally.

I've seen some girls on here with little derpy spurs. There was a conversation about it a few months back.
