I believe my panther chameleon is about 6 and a half months. He had an eye infection in which I have antibiotics for. His eye still is not perfect, but is in the works. While I was in hospital, my husband had the basking light too close and he has a burnt spike or two. I don't think he needs to...
So my guy showed absolutely no color really even last month! He literally changed within a few days time! So don't get too worried yet! Colors will come... he was literally just pure brown not long ago ;)
Nope... he keeps the lights off completely as he knows it needs to be dark, however it is light enough for him to see he is awake...we are in a basement, so there is no light in the area...

He/she looks just like mine when I got him, but I was so torn about his sex until Last week, and asking people's opinions on here...i can only now say he is 100% Male now that he is about 4 months. He is only starting to get some color. Anyhow, I am such a newbie that I can' give a true...
Yep... I am very sorry for being rude. Came across a lot more blunt than I realized. I really should not have had that glass of wine. My apologies...truly.
It is obvious he is too cheap to care for his chameleon and would prefer it to die than spend a few bucks. Sad. Don' buy an animal unless you can afford to keep it. This makes me angry.
I was curious if it is safe to use outdoor sticks in a chameleons enclosure? They don' have bark on them, but I also don't know what species of tree I cut them from. I will appreciate any input. Obviously I don' want to do anything that will harm him.
