Thanks that eases me a bit, but she has become more dehydrated even though she has multiple times in the day where her dripping system is running. I just gave her a shower and she seems much more energized.
Hello, I have around 10 month old female panther chameleon. This morning I woke up and saw that her entire tail was black and one of her arms was slightly black. I am confused to what this means? And I’m concerned. Any info on whats going on will be helpful. Here is a picture of her this morning.
Hello, so I was cleaning the inside of my chameleons cage yesterday and Leo (my cham) escaped without me noticing. He had managed to climb to the other side where the light was. I believe he burnt his tail :( Is there anything I can do to help it heal??
Hello I am a owner of a 8 month panther chameleon, recently he has been gaining a ton of weight and I'm not sure why. I want to know if this is healthy or not and what I can do to help him lose weight. He eats about 7 crickets every other day, is well hydrated, and does move around in his cage...
Hello! So I have had my panther cham for about a 2 months, he has always been very nice ever since I bought him and never bites, and an occasional hiss if he doesn't wanna be bugged. Recently he has become very hostile and not letting me near him and freaking out when I'm cleaning his cage. He...
I've had Leo for about a month now, he was super friendly with me right off the bat. Then, he became sick (well dehydrated) and now is very hostile towards me. He puffs up a lot more and hides (which he never used to do) What can I do to fix this? I miss him being my friendly little dude.
Hello I feel as if my juvenile panther chameleon is becoming tired of his crickets. What are some good healthy meal choices for him? His main staple is cricket, but he also eats super worms and sometimes meal worms.
He’s going to be okay :) My panther had this problem and after his next shed he did fine. Mine does shed quite frequently though since he is young. I would suggest a shower for your chameleon. Please please please look up the proper way to shower them in ththe actual shower because it takes some...
I would definitely get this checked out. I recently had problems with my panther and the best method for saving money was to firt call my local exotic vet. That way you can get better advice from a specialist before going to see them and find out how serious it is. But definitely get this looked...
It doesn’t sound too serious. Most chameleons will stop shedding as often as they grow. However, since yours is not fully grown it is stranger. How is the humidity in the tank? That could be a factor to check out.
If he immediately did this after eating he may have gotten a bad batch? Do you gutload? Have the bugs been eating anything gross like mold or other dead insects?
Hi!! I've had Leo for about 2 weeks. The pet store said he was male but didn't exactly know. Could someone help me figure out if he really is male? Usually he is a fire like orange and tan if he is happy. ALSO I have no idea his age, I know he is young but would like and estimate.
