They should stay together for a long time, 48 hours is actually not long. Don't take them apart, ever. The mating could last up to 6 days stuck together, this is perfectly normal and expected.
he has just shed now, the spot on his mouth came off and is now looking nearly normal, just slightly peach coloured. Also the other two spots have stuck shed on them.
hey guys I am wondering if a XL reptibreeze cage (2x2x4feet) is too big for a 4 month old male veiled chameleon? He would be coming from a breeder and they said he is really healthy and that he would be okay with cup feeding if the cage was too big. Any ideas?
aw man that is so awesome. I wouldnt touch my Floyd unless I am giving him meds. That guy is fiesty! My leopard gecko Jasmine is sweet and will lay on me but shes nocturnal so I take her out at night. Not as exciting and a beardie though. I'd love to add one to my reptile/arachnid collection
I have a male panther who is about 8 months old, never have I met a more grumpy chameleon. His nickname is grumps because hes always so mean lol. I have been bitten by him before and let me tell you IT HURT. I have been bitten by tarantulas and that cham bite was worse. If you put your finger...
I couldnt get my boy Floyd to open his mouth at all. I had to give it to him for a week straight and by the 4th day he had figured it out and wouldn't open his mouth. I tried everything, prying his mouth open with my nails, trying to make him mad at me but he would just sit there and stare at...
Your Chameleon - Male panther chameleon 8 months old
How long has it been in your care? About 2 months

I had seen a WC Mellers chameleon in the pet store for a month, I checked in weekly each time complaining about housing and what they should do. They listened but the poor little guy got an arm infection and died. I ALWAYS raise hell when I see a chameleon or any other reptile in the wrong...
I havent used those before the only greens they got was romaine lettuce, I noticed kale and everything was on sale in this weeks grocery flyer and thought I'd try some for myself and the crickets. I have been feeding them red delicious apples, oranges, carrots and lettuce for the wet meal so far.
Hey guy I have read many places that kale, collard greens and dandelion greens are great for gutloading. I am wondering if you feed them raw or have to cook them before giving them to the crickets. If you do have to cook them, what is the best way of doing so, thanks.
