How are you gut-loading your feeders? carrots, cricket formula, cricket water with calcium, apples, romaine lettuce.Supplements - Calcium without d3 monday-friday, saturday plain crickets, sunday-alternating between heptivite and calcium with d3(showing little interest in crickets lately)

Watering -Misting and he has a little water bowl at the top of the cage that drips for about 20 mins 2 or more times a day. How often and how long to you mist? Frequently and until things are pretty wet Do you see your chameleon drinking? Yes.

Fecal Description - greyish brown and pretty mucusy looking, not very solid, appears to have mucus in it.Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? Yes. As of 2 weeks ago it was negative. History -Had really smelly fecal so I took him to vet, The vet gave me Flagyl and I gave him that once daily for 7 days. Fecal looked a bit better. The test came back positive for pinworms about 3 days later. I gave him Panacur once about a month ago and then 1 more 3 weeks later. Test came back to see if 3rd dose was needed and came back negative.

At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? 5.5 feet Location - Where are you geographically located? Ontario Canada

Current Problem- chameleon has 2 scab looking things on the left side of his head and one by his mouth, there are 2 greyish black spots as well, one on the right side of his head in the same spot as the left and one on the top of his head. The is no possible way that they are burns because the heat light is 2 inches from the top of the cage.

I just noticed it yesterday and I am really worried. Here are some pictures:

Where do you live? Maybe we can find you another vet??? Did you by chance feed your chameleon butterworms? I have seen a few other members chameleon's mouth get black spots on it after they ate them. Some weird reaction or something.

He gets crickets and silkworms with some hornworms and superworms sometimes. I can find another vet if you think he needs it

he is starting to shed now, I need to know if he needs to go to the vet because getting an appointment is hard.

he has just shed now, the spot on his mouth came off and is now looking nearly normal, just slightly peach coloured. Also the other two spots have stuck shed on them.

It's possible that are bites from food? Camo got bit on the side of his mouth from a worm and it left a black scab. If you're really this concerned I say make an appointment and wait.

Is he eating okay?

He is eating fine, poop is normal, urates are white, actively looking for ladies and doesnt at all seem to be upset. I have noticed large uneaten crickets in the cage in the morning that I missed so maybe they bit him?

That is definitely a possibility!!! Camo has taken hits from super worms, I don't leave crickets in the cage for that specific reason, but the bites are similar. I didn't put anything on his bites and they cleared up rather quickly. If you're having issues search the forum for cricket bites and what the other members use. I don't want to recommend anything since I didn't put any ointments on my little guy's bites.

I'm sure your handsome man is okay :) Please let us know how he's doing!!!

They look like they are healing fine. It's really hard to find any info on bites, I searched lots of terms both on the forums and google and most of the stuff I got back was burns which I know isnt possible given the light is outside and not even resting on the cage.
