Any species of any kind in the wild, non native is invasive. UNLESS it is put there with the proper paper work, and meant to be put in an area for whatever reason. But when animals as pets are just released, they are invasive. Chameleons, pythons, etc. For example, their are a lot of game birds...
In my opinion drippers are good additions with a misting system, but never as a replacement to. Not sure you're schedule, but think of if you're good for a couple days straight. You'll want a mister with a reservoir. Which is just one of many reasons.
