What temp is it with it on ?

However I would like to have a member with more experience with veiled's to chime in.

Is that ceramic heater on? If so she can possible burn her self by not realizing the heat as it is not visible in light form.

70-80% imo is to much 35-45% would be better. Was the humidity like this before you noticed the pneumonia? If not what was it running?

High 60's is fine for a night temp. I know this doesn't help now but I think you should rule out that as a cause. What is your humidity running? Also she may need a lower ambient temperature as 85 is rather hot. I don't have a whole lot of exp with pneumonia as my cham has never had it.

Here's another one, when my cham was very little I had him in a 10gal tank while I was building his new cage. so when I went to pick him up he was on the ground, well I had a rock bed at the bottom and that's what he was on. Moving basking spot to the middle is not a option as I have a milled top will light holes.

His tank is huge ( 2.5x2.5x4.5 ft )so the bulb doesn't heat the bottom much at all.

But yes lots of pet stores treat them like crap, the one I bought mine from had three male veileds in the same tank that was short and long not tall and not as wide.

I bought mine from a petco he doing just fine.(As far as I can see) The benefit from buying at a shop is you get to see the EXACT cham your getting, some breeders wont send you a pic before you buy him (or her).
