Metal Bird Cage? Pro or Con?

Just attach quarter inch mesh screen on each side with zip ties and you are all set plastic for the sides and metal for the top

    Wild Rollie Pollies?

I just finished my first batch of hatchlings from wild rolly polies. Honestly breeding them was super easy and I have so many now that I don't even know what to do with them all. Feeding them all cricket supplement , carrots and kale salad leafs. All in a 24 inch long and 18 inch wide tuppaware...

Is it weird my chameleon likes to cuddle

Chameleons shouldent be wrapped in a towel but I could be wrong. When I first got mine he would close his eyes but unless it's bed time I realized it's because he wishes he was somewhere else lol. I almost compare it to my seasick remedy. When I feel like I'm getting sea sick in a boat, I...

Could this be used to feed my feeders?

Wondering if it would be acceptable to put a small scoop into the roaches container. "Organic raw plant based formula" I figured it would be good for bugs due to all the vitamins and minerals but potentially bad due to certain nutrients absorbed by my cham that we would otherwise avoid ? Your...

My free range setup! Check it out

I have been watching him explore when he thinks I'm not there. He has tried but it seems to slippery to get a grip and climb out . In the meantime I will come up with an idea to make it seamless. Maybe glue plastic clear strip to go over gaps? Thanks for the feedback

    he gets scared when outside

Yes .. it only takes 5 minutes. Mine had crossed over onto another tree and was trying to cross the street when I found him .. (frantically 30 minutes later ) I will never make that mistake again

My free range setup! Check it out

See attached photo for my setup.. All fake stuff with vines and sticks that are natural. I got the glass from a shelving unit in the house .. the glass works really good. The basking light and uv are both adjustable. Right now we are just misting about 5 times a day. Will add a dripper...

    Is this a Dubia roach?

Cool thanks guys.. Im not worried about pesticides , I've been using these for a year I get them from a remote area and the cham is thriving. I usually purge them for a bit and gut load them prior to feeding. Maybe I will try breeding them at some point. Thanks again

    Is this a Dubia roach?

I catch these and they have been awesome feeders to my Jackson for over a year now. They look like Dubia roaches but everyone says Dubias don't climb side walls. These can climb just about anything which confuses me... it means no feeder cup will work (which isn't a huge deal) do you think this...

Hand fed my new cham for the first time!

I only feed mine from hand ! It builds trust and he even looks forward to coming out of his habitat to "hang out " while I am gardening

Please help identify this bug. Cham loves it!

I do agree this looks like the one in my photo however mine literally doesn't turn green in any stage of growth from what I can see. I see them from 1/4 inch long up to just over an inch.your thoughts ?
