    Please help!!!

Does anyone think it is possible that it could be a vitamin A deficiency? I use REPTISUN 5.0 UVB and the Daylight blue 60W UVA/heat bulbs. I dust with repticalcium without D3 mixed with Rep-cal Herptivite. Twice a month I use the Rep-cal with D3 to dust the feeders. I gutload the crickets...

    Please help!!!

Hello everyone, My chameleon has been on and off closing his eyes- I took him to an emergency exotic vet and they gave him a bundle care kit about a week and a half ago (shot of antibiotics, critical care carnivore formula, calcium gluconate, and fluids). The next day he was able to keep his...

Thank you! Everything else is normal so I'm hoping that if it is the start of a RI, it's caught early. I appreciate the reply, I'll keep you posted.

    Help! RI???

I've noticed that his deep inhalation breathing is still going on periodically throughout the day and night- usually every 15-30 minutes. That is the only sign of a RI that I've noticed- no mucous coming from the nose or mouth, no gaping (unless he is under his basking light for an extended...

    Possible respiratory infection?

Hello all, I just noticed tonight that my chameleon has been taking deep exhales through his nose at night, while sleeping. However, he does not have any bubbling from his nose or mouth or mucous/saliva buildup. He breathes normally throughout the day, no signs of "rattling" or "wheezing" when...

    Is this a casque burn?

Yes, when I get home I will attach a photo of the setup. I recently changed the bulb from a Zoomed Daylight Blue to a Halogen bulb because the daylight blue kept blowing out on me. The lamp is about a foot away from the branch in which he basks. The cream is a Silver Sulfadiazine Burn Cream...

    Getting chams out of cages?...

You could try using a worm to hoax him onto your arm! That's how my cham warmed up to me when I first got him and now he will willingly come out :)

    Is this a casque burn?

Hello! Recently my little guy has had these strange bubble-like scales on his casque. However, they are firm and there is no evident burning anywhere. I recently switched from the daylight blue Zoomed bulb to a Halogen daylight bulb. Could it possibly be too hot for him? I have it set up...

    MBD? Please help

Thank you, I am bringing her Monday because as of right now, no veterinary offices for exotics are open. I appreciate the advice:)

    MBD? Please help

I think that it might have something to do with her being stressed out because she was carrying eggs. Maybe this caused a lack of calcium? I'm going to call my vet tomorrow and see what he recommends, hopefully it is just calcium supplements if anything.

    MBD? Please help

Hi, my chameleon has been having nerve spasms in her legs but she is able to walk, climb, and move without any problems at all. I was informed that it can be MBD by a friend but she has been consuming calcium without D3 everyday and then Calcium with D3 and multivitamins a few times a month. I...
