    Sickly Jacksons

Unfortunately, he just passed away :'( I swear, it hasn't even been a couple hours and I've never grieved so much for an animal. RIP Osiris, you were the most beautiful pet I had the opportunity to own. I wish I could have done better

    Sickly Jacksons

He just turned completely black and now he's breathing violently with his mouth open. He keeps sticking his tongue out like he's choking or something. Is there anything I can do to ease this? It kills me to see him like this

You are not Doctor..... Let me go

I actually made an appointment for extra care today. Are they a good place to treat chameleons? Is there anywhere else in the area somebody can recommend? Thanks

    UVB Bulbs turning Chameleon black?

I've had him for about a week and a half. But he's been fine when I got here, he adjusted surprisingly well. I did install a new vine for him to climb on, which is about 2 inches higher than his normal basking branch. Maybe I should move it down a bit and see how that works

    UVB Bulbs turning Chameleon black?

I recently got a Reptiglo 5.0 cfl for my Jackson and he hasn't showed any noticeable reaction to it. He was acting odd last week and the beginning of this week, but now he's eating again and active as ever! But today when I got home he was pitch black! This morning I took him outside for this...

    Poor little Jackson

I think I'm going to take him to a herp vet tomorrow. He drank a lot of water earlier today and seemed happy. But now he's just sitting with his eyes closed again and seems lazy. Still won't eat at all, just watches the crickets. Should I leave the feeder bowl in his cage? Or is he bored of...

    Poor little Jackson

Thanks a lot for the help!! I bought some stuff from the health foods store to gutload the crickets too. Besides him not eating, everything else seems to be good. He's much more active now and just looks better overall again, thanks a bunch

    Poor little Jackson

Heres the only picture I have for now I plan on getting a larger plant for him to climb around on. For now, he has a couple vines he walks on. Also, I have a feeder bowl set up and he knows there crickets in there, but won't do attempt to eat them. Sometimes he'll go right up to it and just...

    Poor little Jackson

I just went to the store and all they had were ReptiGlo 5.0 compact bulbs. I found a reptile shop about 40 minutes from me and according to reviews they are very ideal. Tomorrow I'll make a trip out there and see if I can get a linear bulb and return this one. Will read and change how I gut...

    Poor little Jackson

So should I keep the Zoomed basking light and get rid of the daylight bulb I have? The Reptisun is quite expensive! hah But I'll run over to the store and grab one. Thanks a lot for the help! Today he's looking better and enjoyed climbing around outside for a bit.

    Poor little Jackson

What brand of calcium powder should I be looking for? I read that I should dust with D3 twice a month or something of the sort. He is shedding, and has been for quite a while actually. Also, I'm confused on lighting. How many/what kind of bulbs should I be using? On the daylight bulb I have, it...
