I actually just bought starter colonies of discoid and green banana from him lol.
I have tried this a couple times but I am worried about getting him addicted to supers. What is the max limit of supers/week you would suggest?
While waiting for my Discoid colony to get going, I have still been trying to feed my cham Dubias in the shooting gallery.
But, of course they dont hardly move throughout the day and so my cham doesn't tend to eat many of them. I had 7 of them in there all day and he didnt touch them...
Roaches are great feeders.
When my cham was around that age he ate an insane amount. I would put a combined 30 or so small to medium Dubias and BSFL in a feeder cup and they'd be all gone when I got home
My panther has just reached that age as well and seems to have slowed down a bit on his eating. When I left for work this morning he had a few Dubias left over from yesterday in his shooting gallery and 2-3 BSFLs leftover in a separate feeding cup I have for him.
It's been harder to hand/tong...
I've been curious about this after noticing my cham seemingly spending less time on his top basking branch (He has entered his teenage panther months)
I have heard at least a couple of the podcasts by Bill where he discusses the experiments of determining safe/effective UVI levels without...
The chameleon shooting gallery works pretty well for roaches. Although, dubia tend to stay put near the top of them IME so my cham doesn't really eat a ton of them.
I'm sure red runners would work very well with it
Thank you! Yeah my cham has been taking every opportunity to leave his enclosure lol. I'm going to try to latch the doors and bottom opening so I can close them while I remove the tray for cleaning
Thank you!
I am going to put one in - havent bought the material for it yet though. I'd like to find a bit of pvc sheeting or something to put in the bottom like what comes with commercial cages
