Its really hard to say, because many female panthers look similar with their pink color. Where did you get her from? If you got her from a breeder they should be able to tell you.
Shes probably stressed from being in a box, to now in a new cage. I would let her acclimate for a few days. Give her a good misting and let her destress
to me, it looks like at one point he burned his casque, which could be why he sheds weird there. how much do you feed him and what is your supplement schedule?
yes that was the uvb or in the case of the kit, the coiled bulb. without it your cham will develop metabolic bone syndrome and can die if it goes untreated. personally I think foliage and branches are just as necessary.
The coil bulb will be ok until you upgrade his cage, I used it initially also. The linear tubes are better though because it spreads the uvb out the whole length of the cage
I know there is a cream you can get but I dont remember exactly what its called. @jannb can you help with the name? Also are you able to fact check me on post #11?
Your off to a great start by coming here! I would reccomend adding thinker branches near the top for basking but not too close to be burned. You will want the branch 7ish inches away for the uvb. For supplementing, its every feeding dust with calcium without d3, then 2 times a month use calcium...
Where are you located? we could possible help you find a vet. If your chameleon is losing weight you need to take it to the vet and see if you can get a fecal done to test for parasites.Could you post a picture?
