Need some accurate facts on dubia vs orange headed Eublaberus Posticus vs. Blaptica dubia

I don't have jack for you concerning a scientific study on which roach is better. Don't read any further if that proof is what you need. On the other hand, I've been keeping chameleons since before there were companies selling a variety of insects to choose from. I had to catch my own food...

Storm Preparations... What You Need to do for Your Pets...

I’ve ghosted this thread for a while holding my tongue. Many of you are either overthinking this or assuming your animals are snowflakes and going to melt without 24/7 attention. Now granted, depending on the conditions where you live, things could go downhill fast. Those conditions being...

    Advanced LED Lighting 102!

So I tried your stuff here but the breakers in my cave couldn't handle it. Lost a cat too. Poor thing screamed bloody murder running around on fire before it gave up the ghost. I want to go back to Vita-lite after this.

    Opinion on Dragon Strand Enclosures.

These cages are well designed, well built, and you can't really beat the customer service. Not to mention that Mr. Strand does the chameleon podcast, so you have cages designed by a guy who breeds these critters. Think on all that and then open up the wallet.

    48” Quad T5 from lightyourreptiles.com

That distance factor is why I only use the 12% bulbs. All my builds are tall and wide as hell. I only use a 6% bulb on a cage 18" or less in height.

The Naturalistic Approach in Humidity and Water Management Unleashed By: Petr Necas

Thread got interesting. <popcorn> For advanced keepers with some understanding of their animals, I'm all for this. I have one cage that I let fog up for three hours a night. No issues. My comment, and it was only a comment, is that as it initially read I could see a novice thinking they...

The Naturalistic Approach in Humidity and Water Management Unleashed By: Petr Necas

I agree with Carlton on the points brought up. Here's my two cents... we have so many keepers in this hobby that can't even look at a cham in a big chain store and say to themselves "this animal is not well" or be persuaded to buy the right lighting at the time of purchase. Trying to get these...

    Spider in Dubia Roach Bin

I had one small spider in my bin, the damn thing killed quite a few much larger than it. Just kill the spider and then see if your loss ratio improves

    Possible MBD Rehabilitation Setup

For one that small I would place it in a plastic shoebox without the lid. It should be big enough to where the animal can not reach the top and climb out. I would then use a few rolled up cloth towels for it to climb around on in the bottom. After that the rest is standard, temp and UVB...
