Yes I want to see people's panther females! I have males myself, but I think the girls can be under appreciated. This female I'm posting is actually at a Petco that I volunteer at ... Not one to buy herps from perstores but man is she a looker!!!
Also not sure your feeding style, but I started cup feeding because of dubias. I used to free roam feed, but dubias often find a leaf to hide under and will stay very still. I'm sure cham would eventually find it, but there you have it ;)
Why not both :D From my PERSONAL experience... Dubia pros: Quiet, less likely to escape, bigger (can be pro depending on age of cham), and I personally have more luck keeping them alive/hardy. Diabia cons: More expensive (although they can be more filling), slow moving and do not as readily...
Hey all! I am in planning stages of an outdoor enclosure for the panthers. It will not be a permanent home, but just a retreat on nice days for fresh air and natural sun rays. I am looking at using galvanized wire mesh. But I'm not sure if 1/4 inch squares or 1/2 inch squares. Is there a benefit...
Hopefully someone else will pop on this thread with some thoughts. It is worth noting though that the Dracaena is known to be toxic to dogs and cats, this is more of an "if ingested" deal, but I do hear that Veild's love trying to munch things. He still being itchy/scratchy? Does his skin appear...
Nice! I have a curio cabinet in storage that will be a future crested gecko home. Two questions... How do you water proof the wood that is not covered in great stuff? Such as the backs of the door frames? Is it just "painted" with the air duct sealant?
Second question :) ...

Most heat lamps are on the metal mesh top of the cage, so not flammable. You could always get a clamp to hold it on place if are worried about it being unstable or knocked ascew. Is it the bulb you are worried about or the plug??
Whew... Ty James... That orange is so vibrant it had me worried. Would you say going a week without pooping is, not abnormal? My nosey be isn't having this issue at all
Hmmmm... What sort of plants do you have in his enclosure? And if you used wood or branches from trees/shrubs outside for perches, what plants did they come from?
So... Update. I did end up taking him to the vet again. I probably prematurely freaked out, making a last minute appointment, but I'm glad I did. Last week, he didnt go for his crickets, and I immediately panicked. In hind sight, it appears that he has become picky more than having lost his...
I wouldn't... It's not on the FL Cham safe plant list, and a quick google shows the plant is lethally toxic to dogs/cats and livestock:
"Kalanchoe species contain cardiac glycosides and are toxic to animals. In South Africa and Australia, where these plants are found in the wild, cattle and...
