I lost my first baby after months of bad husbandry from myself, before i learned about chams i bought the poor little guy and put him in a 10 gallon fish tank with a 75w bulb and a night bulb, and no supplements.
You have nothing to kick yourself about it, the poor guy wasn't of good health...
thanks for replying, i guess its time to make a laying bin.
What size do you recommend to put into a 16x16x30 cage?
I've read that 8x12x12 is whats reccomended but that will take a big chunk of my cage space :/
Well Kameal is my first female, I've had her a little over 4 months now and man she has gotten big. Over the last week or so she has been more colorful than she is or was. Definitely can see her black and teal stripes.
Shes such a looker right now, but idk if this means she is receptive or...
i take my veiled with me on quick errands, she just sits on top my hat. only thing is she hates being outside wide open, but once im back in my car or inside a building she is back to being green :)
other than that she doesnt care for other ppl, she seems to enjoy staring at everyone
they need suppliments especially if you arent gutloading their crickets
calcium without d3 every feeding,
multivitamins once a month
calcium with d3 twice a month
try giving her sometime outside natural sunlight will do some wonders
take her a vet would be the best
I rescued her from petsmart july 2nd and she was the tiniest little thing
here she is in the store, she was such a hyper little cham
her little innocent sad face, shes a beast, adult crickets aren't a problem for her
