Hello,
I have been doing some research on the suppliments that a chameleon needs and I've found out that they need 3 different suppliments. Calcium with D3, Calcium without D3 and a multivitamin. I am unsure if the suppliments that I am using are right...
I am currently using Repti Calcium...
I document her poop and the last one she did was the 4th of November... I'll definitely go to the vet but do I take a poo sample or do i take her to the vet? Or both?
My chameleon hasn't been pooping a lot recently. Probably once a month and today she did. I checked on it and there is a spot of blood and a lot of white. Is this normal? She also ate a brown bit of her poop as well... Should I be worried about this? I'll attach some pictures.
An exoterra one. I'm out at the minute but I'll supply some pictures when I'm at home. I have been told her tank too small for her but I've also heard that she doesn't need a big one.
I'll get a thermometer as soon as possible but I don't think her light is hot enough to burn her as she doesn't have any burn marks and can sit there for hours but I don't want it to be too low for her.
I'll definitely cut her feeding back and her basking light at the minute is a 60watt. I'm not sure what that would be in Fahrenheit. Also, how long will it be before she lays her next batch?
I was doing a full clean of my chameleons enclosure today and when I was removing the old substrate I noticed that there were eggs. She was showing signs of needing to lay around a month or two ago and I left her for a week to lay, but I never thought she did, couldn't find any and people were...
I've had a few bites and they definitely aren't fun. I'm still going to call it a cuddle even though its not because it melts my heart when she does it. You have a beautiful chameleon. I love seeing the colours of the Panther chameleon. Mines a Veiled so no drastic colours here.
Wow that is a fiesty chameleon. Mine has a fit when it comes to lifting her out. But once I do she is straight up into my neck for a cuddle or she will sit in her tree branch on the window being nosey
Okay that's good, but the 💩 wasn't all that oval, solid looking consistency which was what I expected. It was between runny and hard... if that makes sense.
My chameleon falling asleep before lights out was unusual for me, I'd never seen her do that before, but I'm glad thats its normal for her...
I noticed that she hasn't been doing a number 2 in a while but today she did. There was a long bit that was coated in a goo almost and was yellow and white. Then there was one bit that was a small oval shape and was brown. There was a brown splat almost as well. I also have one concern that I've...
Yeah, it seems that locusts are worse than mealworms. I've also heard that mealworms are difficult for a chameleon to digest... I'll try and locate the best reptile vet near me and see about getting here checked regularly.
