As tge others said great start.looks like it'll be a good set up you will never have too many horizontal pathways.I like diagonals joining them too.also I love the flexible vines there great and if you can get to a beach its a goldmine for branches with driftwood and the like.which looks well too
I was thinking of going down the DIY background route aswell.ill let you know how I get on.I had seen a thread on it before or a step by step in a DIY enclosure thread I can't find it now though.ill post you a link if I do
I haven't been bit so I can't honestly say.but from what I've read.they are mostly show biting is a last resort.I've been snapped at but only when i knew I was pushing my luck
12 and 12 on the lights is perfect for chams.if its a female your looking out check out the laying bin blogs and also members tend to keep females at lower temps to slow down egg production.
can i take it from this thread your e cigs are flavoured and have nicotine.over here there just water vapour with no chemicals but are still kinda specialist you cant get refills everywhere.ive tried them i couldnt see them as an alternative more a stepping stone to giving up.
your in the right place.the temp of that room sounds a bit hot for a panther i think thats closer to their basking temp.although maybe when in a cage it may provide a good temp drop.chameleons like to move around to thermo regulate.if you click on resources at the top of the page and read...
Since your in the UK are you using glass.there's a thread here if you search glass terraniums with plenty of set up if no there an official enclosure thread it should point you in the right direction
i have a heat mat on a timer to come on for an hour every two or three hours during the night if its cold.or you could look at getting a ceramic heat emitter.steer away from coloured night bulbs as any light can disrupt a chams sleep.however 16c sounds like a safe night time drop
just head for the resources section at the top of the page.youll find all you want to know and more.it just doesnt tell you that veileds are @$$holes though :D we love them all the same
anthony a big pat on the back is deserved great job.and you say its only your second wood working project.ive seen your first build too.you might have missed your calling man :)
