    Chameleon not growing

They are individuals, each unique & special in their own way. He's just going to the beat of his own drum. I have to admit I was super surprised to read that an oz. a week growth seemed about right...lol! Funny how just a tweak of one word can change everything that was attempting to be...

Best way to transport Cham to the vet?

Thank you so much! I hate to put him through any unnecessary stress but feel maybe a check up is due. I really appreciate everyone's info & especially the vets. I want to take care of my guy the best I can and make the experience the least stressful as possible. Thanks again!

Best way to transport Cham to the vet?

Hi all! I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what is the best way to transport a cham to the vet. The closest vet that is experienced with chams is about an hour and a half away (I live in the redwoods up in Northern Cali so everything is a journey!). My guy isn't ill or anything; I...

    Chameleon not growing

So let me get this straight...he's a 4 month old panther that weighs 4 oz.? That means he's 112 grams; that seems ginormous to me for his age. Mine is around 6.5 months & is 50 grams. It sounds like you have a mini dinosaur.

I'm my Cham's favorite toilet & "spootie" rag; it's very humbling to say the least.

    Sudden Weak Chameleon! PLEASE HELP!

To make supplementing easier, I use Repashy Calcium Plus, as does the breeder I got my guy from. Some choose to add a calcium d3 supplement bi monthly. This supplement is easy to use, just a dash in a cup and swirl your feeders about in it to get them lightly coated (not caked!). A few I have...

    George is a REAL JERK!

I hate to admit it but I'm my guys favorite toilet & (pardon the crass term) jizz rag. I swear he holds it in just for me :( . I never thought I'd let a male treat me so poorly lol! The things we put up with for love (insert sigh here).

Does your chameleon sleep in the same spot every night?

My little guy sleeps in the same spot every night in his favorite ficus branch. He beds down about an hour or a little less before the lights go out. I just adore my fellow soooo much!!!!

How do I feeder cup train my guy?

Nice! Thank you!!! The crickets always seem to congrigate near his basking light or UVB bulb and he seems intimidated when they are in a group. I'm assuming the superworms will do the same (walk on the screen?)

How do I feeder cup train my guy?

Any suggestions on a good spot to place his feeder cup or what kind of container is optimal? I read in a past thread to drill hole a place a piece of screen along the bottom for drainage which I'll definitely do but placement options/suggestions would be appreciated as well. Thanks for your...

How do I feeder cup train my guy?

Hello all- I've recently moved my panther into a large enclosure. However- he has grown quite accustomed to wanting out of his enclosure to both poop and eat. He loves to poop on me (sigh) and eat either off of me or on this plant I have outside his home. I was thinking about cup training him...
