Congratulations! it's amazing how excited we get with Cham poo. Popeye hasn't been for about a week and he went tonight on the back of the sofa. I thought he wasn't going to stop. He looks quite thin now!

Funny! Yep, luckily I was outdoors and got rid of it as soon as I could! Then, straight to the hand sanitizer and soap.

I have done this! More than once in fact. I tried to find something to catch it with other than my hands, but I only succeeded once. Those chameleons always gave me a warning by very noticeably lifting a back leg up and squatting a little bit first. I have only been pooped on once by an adult (the only time I could grab a napkin before it was too late.) The babies/juvies seem to like to show their disdain for me by doing a speed poop.

Chameleons seem to poop when they are in the sun, after/during a shower, or sometimes just when they leave their cage. I'm not sure what causes it (maybe the warmth), but those three situations are great if you think your chameleon needs to poop. Now you know to watch out for it when you are outside though!

I have that all the time. My chameleon just feels more comfortable doing his business while sitting on me than on a branch. In return I feel rather like a toilet bowl than the owner of a pet.

My roommate would sit on the couch without a shirt, and his beardie pooped on him. He's got quite a bit of body hair, so it was a funny sight indeed! I'll take cham poop any day after seeing that!
