Sounds really interesting to be 100% automated for the normal routine. The hardest part will indeed be feeding and cleaning. The others are a no brainer with the currently available equipment that is around.
Many of the site sponsors offer cages and even complete set ups. diycages.com has some good deals. Or you could build your own.
Make sure to get a screen cage. 24x24x48 and 18x18x36 are common sizes.
I got this pic yesterday while he was checking out one of the girls. He darkened up quite a bit when I opened the cage and stuck my phone in to take the pic.
He is doing really well, if I could only get this tongue issue under control he will be 100%.
I wish I could make it to the show this weekend but unfortunately already have other obligations. Fortunately for me and the others who can't make it, there is another in Orlando next month!
