thanks mate, thats actualy just a back board the bottom of my cage is egg crate will be having large pebbles/stones as substrate and a tray under it all to catch the water.
im goin to have the plants in there pots and just put the pebbles round them
should be looking pretty much finished...

now ive got on 4coats of grout and put the slates in place just got to leave it over night to silicone the slates in place

little update
heres some pics of the current state of the background, its had 1 wet coat and 1 stiffer coat so far of tile grout.
Waiting for grout to go off is soooo boringggg lol

ok i started my fake rock background tonite ive coverd it all in expanding foam and stuck in the 2 branches. i also attempted to stick in some slate but didnt work to great so im guna leave it over night so i can sculpt the rock shapes 2moro then add the slate in after maybe

you know whats weird is if i knew there were these 2 ways in the begining i would of done with 2 bulbs also i think,
just to clarify would i use a normal 100w bulb in the big reflector thing (outside the cage) and the uv light is a strip light, but placed in what sort of holder? and isit in...
sorry forgot to add i change it every 6months as it has a guarantee so its alwats free aswel :)
just curious if the other way is better or not as im almost done on a new cage im building and wana get evrything done spot on

hi everyone,
ive had my chameleon around 18months or so and always just had one bulb its a zoo-med powersun 100w, its what the man i bought it from told me i needed, and my chameleons always been fine (touch wood)
but i never see anyone else set up this way... should i have a strip light...

im kind of goin for a greyish fake rock background with pieces of slate and fake plants bedded into it, also gona have a branch in it to so i can wrap vines round it and stuff should look cool if i make the image in my head come out on the 3d...

i sprayed 8coats of varnish on the cage and door today also so has been very well protected lol would post...
