Cage Re-Vamp for Tommy!

Today I gave Tommy's cage a good clean and put in a new taller schefflera as his ficus had dropped most of it's leaves! I put his vine back in and gave him more branches so he has more places to sit and walk.

This is what his cage looked like before:

and these are what it looks like now!

he is just beautiful!!!!!!!

i don't have one yet but my first chameleon is going to be a veiled... how old is he and how long have you had him?????

his enclosure looks much better, in my limited knowledge ;)), what is that clear plastic container in the bottom left?

thanks,, lisa

Tiff I just can't believe all the time you waste on your chameleons!!! I toss mine in a cage and they are on their own. That is how to handle them, right?

Both Tommy and the new cage are excellent. I know the sweet boy will enjoy it.

Thanks Lisa! Tommy is around 2 years old - I'm not sure of his exact age. I've had him since November last year. He is the sweetest boy cham ever! The plastic container is the water catcher under his dripper to stop it flooding the floor of his cage.

Hehe! Thanks Laurie! It took a good couple of hours to clean and put the essential bits back in the right place where he's used to them (such as branch under dripper, etc). I put things in and take them out again and rearrange it for ages:eek:. I have to be totally happy with it before I put him back in.:D Hubby threatened to snap one branch as it took me so long to get it right, lol! He just doesn't understand, lol! That's why I come on here too much - everyone here understands and shares my passion with chams!

I for one am really glad you do, I am on here as much as you. We can have friends who understand the things hubby's don't. Then we have our other friends, the other friends who come on as wifey just doesn't get it!! lol

That looks great tiff! A nice improvement from the before pic! Tommy is a good looking chap! I might have to show Dante a picture to get him in his Sunday best! Lol!
