Pascal has outgrown his little baby cage that was glass with the screen top. I misted him 4-5 times a day to keep the humidity up and it would dry out completely in between mistings.
I moved him into a much larger all-screen cage and I was concerned that I'd have trouble keeping the humidity...
We've had a record heatwave lately, so I've been keeping Pascal inside where I can control the temps. He loves sitting and looking out his window for hours. If I interrupt him, he gets angry with me, the little snot.
I'm glad to see you got another. Your story about Ernie was so sad.
Your new little guy is adorable! He'll be big in no time.
I'd try the pinhead crix, and see how he does. If he has any problems, break their legs and cripple them. One will do enough damage to keep them in a smaller...
Thank you both. We've been staying inside lately. It's too hot the last few days. Pascal doesn't even want to bask much, other than in the morning sun in his window. We don't normally get heat like this so many days in a row.
There are so many differences, it would be impossible to choose a favorite by photos alone.

Now that my cham has a larger enclosure, I'll try the Canon and see what I get...
Did you get Leon a Dragon Strand enclosure? (Just going by what I could see in the last photo.) It's amazing how fast they grow, isn't it?
Pascal's new enclosure came via UPS yesterday. The decor comes today. Can't wait! This will be a mid-size for him, a 30" x 30" x 18". I'll likely...
I'm still learning myself, and there will be others along to give more help than I can, but I do know his legs look to be very painful. Did the vet x-ray him at all? They appear to be fractured even to my novice eye.
You said he's only getting two to three crickets a day? Again, it may be...
Pascal looks out his window wistfully, so today I decided he was big enough and strong enough to venture outside in the sun for a few minutes. It was his very first time being out of the house and the first photo was his first time feeling and seeing the sun.
His reaction at first was...
