I just ordered a 48X24X24 cage for my veiled cham. I was wondering if I need to get a 18 or 24 inch uvb bulb? 5.0 or 10.0? Also will be using a 60 watt housebulb for basking? Any advice on this would be great! Thanks!

I am very aware of the tube light but keep in mind this is a 10 gallon vertical tank she is temp in. The top part of the cage is small so the mini dome lights is what I could find to use.

I appreciate the quick response. I have another question for you if you don't mind. I will admit I got him at Petco as spur of the moment decision. I have had reptiles in the past so am familiar with them. The guy who sold him to me seemed to be very knowledgable so I took his advise on how...

Thanks again for all the help. I feel better now that I have the proper lighting. That's why I asked a lot of the same questions because I didn't have a good feeling about the set up I have now. I will be moving him to a larger screened cage soon. I noticed you mentioned her? I am under the...

Sorry to sound like an idiot but is the bulb in picture not a UVB bulb? This tank came with two types of bulbs and they said keep red one on all the time ( which I know not to now) and other light on 12 hours a day. Is the one bulb sufficient for lighting? Thank you!
