I thought so, my male ambi likes to be out and shows lovely colours but my other male hates it and assumes a low position and hides and goes very dark, so he stays in, the other goes out in a spare screen cage I have. Just to say jannb I find all your posts very helping in all the searching...

Very well spotted mate 5 months ago he got something in is eye and was rubing a bit ( a few showers later and a few sheds ) it's now looking a lot better a few more sheds it should be back to normal.
