I was going to give you both an update today! She is actually doing much better than she was!! I am happy to say that she has stopped star gazing, gasping for air, falling asleep during the day. That one thing that she did (would look as if she was gagging but sounded like she was blowing air...

Also everyone, she is actually gaping now, a lot. This is something she didn’t really do before. Anyone know why this could be? It isn’t a side effect of the medication is it? I am so worried that since they had her weight wrong, the dose isn’t strong enough. Definitely going to call them first...

Yeah it is such a struggle getting the meds in her. No matter what I do, she won’t get mad enough to open her mouth, it sucks. She has never tried to even bite me, what a sweetie. She has been doing the gagging/coughing thing today. Really hope this dose is enough to help her.

She is hanging out in the middle part of her enclosure. Started late yesterday evening. I am scared that this is a bad sign. She could be hiding from me bc she doesn’t want me to take her out again…..but I don’t know for sure. She was acting better yesterday but we will see what today holds.

Do you know a good place to order small hornworms? I don’t have any place close to me so I have to order them. The ones I did order were so big, I couldn’t give her any the first time. I noticed a good bit of orange in her last one. She has really been struggling, poor girl.

They assured me that if anything it would be under…..since they only thought she weighed 2 g. I was going to break it up into two doses but they were so tiny….so I just gave it all to her. Hope they are right. What do I look for now?? Turning black??

So I called them this morning and they said that it is diluted and that there is 0.01 medication in each dose.

I understand completely. I really hate that they have the weight wrong, and I think she messed it up bc she put her on top of something small so she would hold on to it and then subtracted thah from the weight. She had to have messed that up somehow. I also worry that they weren’t paying...

And it is 22.7 mg/ml (injections) but not injecting, taking the needle off. If that matters at all? The whole 22.7 mg/ml thing

What was the dose of Baytril and weight of your chameleon?

Ok having a problem. I am seeing about 0.05 in each of these maybe 0.04 so now I’m super confused. Also she weighs a little over 7 grams.

I think you did absolutely amazing giving that to your big guy. My hands will shake way worse than that! Now did you use the qtip at the end to administer another med or wipe some of that one off. Will it be way for me to see the airway so that I can make sure to avoid it? I have someone here...
