    Vitamin A....it scares me

Chris, Why would you question a breeder like Jim F @ Cham Co? If he says he has 6th generation chameleons, my guess is that he almost 100% does. He's one of the most reputable breeders out their, why question him? Also, Jim has been using Vit A for years, shouldn't that be proof that it...

    Hatch Rite Results

Hey bro, make sure you use an air tight tupperware container with only 1 tiny pin hole. My medium stayed perfect for 10+ months.

    Hatch Rite Results

I didn't add a thing to the medium. I had the hatch rite in an air tight container with 1 small pin hole in the lid. I incubated the eggs at room temperature for 4 months and then I put them in the incubator for the remainder of the incubation time.

I'm pretty pleased with the results. Can't complain about spending $15 to get 100% hatch rate :D

    Hatch Rite Results

Well folks, I finally have results from using Hatch Rite. From a clutch of 21 Panther eggs, all 21 hatched out perfectly healthy and strong over a 5 week period. They started hatching out at 9 months 4 days and the last one hatched today at 10 months 1 week. :D

    Chameleon Fall

Brad hit that question right on the button. I also wouldn't be too worried, unless you see visual limping or dragging of legs. They are designed to take those kind of falls if they need to escape from being prey.

    panther night temps

Panthers can go down as low as 60 degrees at night, but no less then that. My panthers usually get down around 66-70 degrees at night.

    Nosy Be price?

For $600, it better be able to jump through hoops :p Expect to pay around the $250-$300 mark for a CB baby and about $350-$500 for a CB adult.

    Baby Parsons

I totally agree with this. As nice as it would be to own a few Parsons to try and breed them, the odds are totally against you from day one. Let them recover naturally in the wild over time. Maybe by 2025, they will be able to put a strict quota on them each year, and still have a thriving...

What the heck just happened!!! PICS

I highly doubt that the Kammers sexed the Chameleon improperly. It's a male.

What the heck just happened!!! PICS

That little Ambanja does resemble a female, so I can see why he'd be bobbing his head at it. That was definitely a mating ritual, not aggression.

    fruit flies

There are a few strains of fruit flies that you can purchase that don't fly. To be safe, buy the large flightless fruit flies. These can't fit through screen cage holes and just climb the screen.
