Why would you question a breeder like Jim F @ Cham Co? If he says he has 6th generation chameleons, my guess is that he almost 100% does. He's one of the most reputable breeders out their, why question him? Also, Jim has been using Vit A for years, shouldn't that be proof that it...
I didn't add a thing to the medium. I had the hatch rite in an air tight container with 1 small pin hole in the lid.
I incubated the eggs at room temperature for 4 months and then I put them in the incubator for the remainder of the incubation time.
Well folks, I finally have results from using Hatch Rite. From a clutch of 21 Panther eggs, all 21 hatched out perfectly healthy and strong over a 5 week period. They started hatching out at 9 months 4 days and the last one hatched today at 10 months 1 week. :D
Brad hit that question right on the button. I also wouldn't be too worried, unless you see visual limping or dragging of legs. They are designed to take those kind of falls if they need to escape from being prey.
I totally agree with this. As nice as it would be to own a few Parsons to try and breed them, the odds are totally against you from day one. Let them recover naturally in the wild over time. Maybe by 2025, they will be able to put a strict quota on them each year, and still have a thriving...
There are a few strains of fruit flies that you can purchase that don't fly. To be safe, buy the large flightless fruit flies. These can't fit through screen cage holes and just climb the screen.
