Hatch Rite Results

Well folks, I finally have results from using Hatch Rite. From a clutch of 21 Panther eggs, all 21 hatched out perfectly healthy and strong over a 5 week period. They started hatching out at 9 months 4 days and the last one hatched today at 10 months 1 week.

I'm pretty pleased with the results. Can't complain about spending $15 to get 100% hatch rate

Mine dries out very quickly.
I like it, but could be my fault that it dries out.

I didn't add a thing to the medium. I had the hatch rite in an air tight container with 1 small pin hole in the lid.

I incubated the eggs at room temperature for 4 months and then I put them in the incubator for the remainder of the incubation time.

Hey bro, make sure you use an air tight tupperware container with only 1 tiny pin hole. My medium stayed perfect for 10+ months.

The incubator is set at a steady 78 degrees in my basement. Worked well.

I'm incubating with hatchrite in the small deli cups lined with holes that come from LLL. Constant 79' with 80% humidity in an unplugged Hovabator. The Hatchrite felt dry from the beggining, I didn't think it could dry out?

isnt it basically a bag of pre-moistened vermiculite/perilite?

It has small ground up water crystals that feel almost dry to the touch that release moisture...at least that is what I thought.

I'm not sure what is used to make Hatch Rite, but it does work well. That's all I care about
