ok so is that like coconut husk or? on the sides..I'm doing the same thing but bought coconut bricks. You have to wet them for expansion, been waiting 4 days so far for it to dry because it says you cant lay it on wet...wondering if I did something wrong or?

male Panther cham, 6 months old, reptisun 10.0 bulb, x large cage, live schefflera's in the cage, same setup since he was a baby. Gut loaded cricket diet (fresh veggies) and dusted with calcium before feeding. Misted 6 times a day. Never had an issue (other than lately getting very aggressive)...

yes, I have a schefflera, and a pothos, in addition to vines. She has plenty to hide in, yet she chooses to be visible. She is a weird one for sure. Every time I try to use more for her, she gets all fussy and unhappy.
I've only ever had 1 Jackson's, and I've never seen her jump...that looked almost painful! I'd have to say if my female did that, Id be worried if she was ok, but then I've only had 1, so, I'm sure others will answer that have more experience than I.
I would use curtain, but I'm not home all the time to monitor when the cats look closely at the cage..that is a cute idea though, lol..with the window tint, I can tape it up there...I think that's what I'll do this evening. ;)
