Me punching above my wait and grabbing a beautiful wife
And a proper picture of the leech daughter of mine seen in the first picture, with my lovely sister-in-law on the left
Probably climb out of a bottle cap...but might hold them for a little while. Try a plant pot dish or something a little deeper with steep smooth edges.
Looks great! I have considered a smaller scale version of this myself. I wonder what species would be OK with a slightly lower humidity (bearing in mind they would be sprayed 2-3 times a day still)? Perhaps yemens are the best hardy species in this kind of thing..
Great...well done. I will be breeding my female major soon. Apparently if you put a heat mat under the laying medium this can persuade them not to scatter eggs....but I don't know. I hope they are fertile :)
Looks gorgeous...ficus twigs would be great for them...but otherwise it looks superb! I love the naturalistic setups you can do for pygs :) What species are you keeping? R.brevicaudatus?
Beautiful Phelsuma! I have P.laticauda...but having trouble finding a mate for her. They are fascinating to watch...really smart little things :) I wish I lived in the US, I would have a pair of girlies off ya :)
Hi Tryme....
I got a quote from LLL reptile for $65 delivery to the UK for some aluminium cages. You can get a 2x2x3 which would be OK for an adult veiled for $79.99...so that's $145 posted...works out about 70-75 quid DELIVERED! :) I was going to do this for myself not long ago, but...
Cute...looking forward to getting my first veiled cham sometime soon (yes, that's right, I must be one of the only people who's never kept calyptratus) :)
They aen;t really baskers either. If you were to take them out it would be best to provide a dense shrub they can hide inside to stay cool and get out of the sun. Also make sure they are watered all during the day when its warm because they need pretty high humidity :)
It would be cute to...
