i have a new cham.
foto's of my new Quad gracilior.
(according to the papers)
It's a little jumper and runner but he will get relaxed over a couple of week's i hope.
well its ok what you say nut if you have a screen viv its also a problam if its in a windy corner or something you could have lung isseus. in Holland we are saying that if you have a viv for a cham you need to have minimum of two airstroke's one at the lowerfront and on at the top over the whole...
well its ok too put it on your viv but place a reflector on the tube because the screencage hold 30% uv radiation off the total uvb.
This is wat you can raise up with the reflector.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Glass W18XL24XH24. IT has a screen top. I am moving this week and once moved I plan on buying him a all screen cage that is W24XL24XH48.
->Yes, a screen cage of that size will be much better for him!
Why is a screen cage much better?
Al...
wel take a good look at this cham according to me i am seeing some signs of mbd at the front leg maybe the eye is suffering from mbd too.
So provide the good uvb in combination with good calcium and drip him tapwater with a dripper by hand.
The uvb cant be higher than 6% otherwise he wil...
what eisentrauti says is right they arent intelectual or independent like cats and dogs.
But you can handle them without stress and it give's pleasure to yourself, so wats the difference in cage or freeranging. if it looks like the chams is having it allright its allright(under good...
ah i get it.
i thougt that you tryed to say that its bad to mix because it wil looses is workings(dont know the english word sorry).
But it depents if your cham needs it every day.
well in this case i think he should mix it up right?
well good for you it worked but i have a panther and a veiled here in big viv's and in the summer their in the garden end they arent agressive at all it depents on how you manage them.
they always want to walk on me and if i want to put them bach in the viv they alway's walk right back into it.
there's one more thing if you use the 10.0 the possibility is her to get severe burning injuy's.
@dreatish wy dont mix the supplement's up can you explain?
well its ok chams are build to climb in tree's so its normal that if you feed them good(vits/calcium/d3) they can fall without injury's.
In Afrika chams are jumping out of tree's to run if there is any danger.

wel i have vivs of glass and water resistant wood and their on the big size for viv's.
Well i think al ways are ok if you can provide enough food water climbing constructions and lighting.
Just feed with alot of calcium and vitamine's
give her water drups with a little dripper so you can make sure she gets watter.
This problem is shurely a calcium shortage from a wile ago.
The only thing you could do is feed her properly with much calcium and d3 and wat you can do is put...
this post is a little bit late but i love your quad never seen foto of gracilior before i want one no i have to tackle my wife for one. are you planning te breed?
in holland almost every cham has ficus benjamina and their are almost no incidents here with the sap and some chams(not mine) take a bite of the leafs but never have any kind of injury's from it.
But we have it on our seva list of save plant for in the viv''s and my chams never had problems...
You can see it at their heads and eyes asswel you know not only the urineis a wireline in this story,
if the eyes are fallen in it's not good also or if the helmets like we call it in holland is fallen in it's also not good if that is te case your came has a short on moisture in his...
wel my pardalis and my veiled drink out of the hand/ pipet(drupper) each day.
Its easyer to handle them that way bycoming is that they are much easier to handle out of the vivs, ill take em out every day so they get used to it.
