besides these last two update pics it looks like it was getting worse as she grew, but these last two pics look like the eyes are filling in. most noticeably the corners seem to be filling in.

Just posting a used screen cage with the above dims, there are a few small holes from attached wire decorations, nothing big enough for feeders. there is a bigger hole about the size of aquarium air tubing on the top ( might be two have to check ) from mist nozzles.

if all you want is to beable to minimize the stress levels of both your cham and yourself when you need to handle him you could try this untill he warms up ( if ever )
1.) try to distract him with something ( not your hand )
2.) lay one hand inside the cage like if it was a branch

If you are getting a grow light, i think its helio or something but their "T5" line has a grow light, they are inexpensive and are throw aways. plus they are water resistant because they are made for aquariums.
