long time lurker but am finally about to purchase a panther. anyways, i wanted to share a couple pics from my trip to south africa. seeing leopard, rhino, lion, giraffe were all unreal, but i think i was most excited when the tracker spotted this little guy...
His colors look awesome! It looks like he will have some red under his belly - what do you think?
Be sure to focus the camera on the Cham and not the plants :P
I currently don't have any crickets to feed the little guy :( I just moved and need to get everything in order before I put my cage together for a future chameleon.
These geckos are all over my complex down here in Plantation. I wonder if you could feed them to chameleons?

That was a great article. I guess Jim states the obvious, breeding chameleons with the best genes will increase the likelihood of getting the most beautiful offspring. He never mentions, though, what percentage of the clutch on average actually turns out to be as beautiful as...

I have been researching and reviewing this site for as much info as I can hold in my head. I have purchased a cage and the equipment and am considering purchasing a veiled or panther chameleon.
Anyways, I know that I will want to breed these guys at some point down the road...
