Bamboo Ladders

I keep seeing bamboo ladders in everybody's cages and i wanted to know if their is an official name for them, and also where people are getting them.

I picked some up at Home Depot or Lowes. They're with the plants and stuff outside.

A lot of people on here also use wooden bird ladders. I think those ones are more popular because they are easier to grip for younger chameleons. Bamboo can be so smooth that it's slippery and they can't grab onto it properly. I picked up a 2ft bird ladder for only $5.

Here's the ones from Lowes or HD... Hope this helps..

How much do they go for Lisa? I might get myself one because my chameleon loves to climb all over his cage and explore it too

Seb, they were about $5.99 at Lowes. There are 2 per package and they're almost 2' long. Well worth it I think!

The ones @ Home Depot or Lowes are a good buy. But if you want something longer and for the same price you can go to ACMoore or Michael's (any arts and craft store) and get bamboo that come 6 feet long and in a bundle of ten. I picked mine up on sale. got home cut them up to whatever size I wanted and u can make something specific to your enclosure.

I came up with making my little guy this. And still have 4 6 foot long pieces left!!!!

I use mine as a basking ledge. I have it slightly diagonal and one side is a couple inches higher up then the other to provide a different basking temp.

WOW!! This is pretty creative!! I'm actually going to do this because this could make things a lot better in my cage.
