it does make sense. But then, why don't they try to get rid of the invasive species if it proves to be detrimental to the environment?

    Microchipping Law in Malaysia

For me i think is cruel to the animal as we are requested to use the normal dog microchip on the chameleon which is bigger in size (12mm). All comes to the questions, are they well trained enough to perform such tasks, will there be any issues? They were suggesting to tag the chameleon on their...

Needing advice on how to confirgure my fem veiled chamaleons sand box to lay eggs

It depends on how much food, heat and supplement you gave her. Veiled chameleon can be bred as young as 4-6 months old (not recommended). I would say it is safer to get her into breeding when she is more than 12 months old. Having said that, you can start worrying about the egg laying sandbox...

    My Veiled Breeding Project

It is impossible to get quality CB veiled chameleons in Malaysia. Most chameleons were smuggled into the country from various South East Asia Countries; most of the battered and stressed out. Seen a vendor stuffed 100 hatchling veiled in a guppy tank driving from one pet store to another to sell...

    Parsonii Yellow Giant

LOL... you totally don't get what I mean. Of course with the heavy law enforcement NOW, all panther and veiled are exported to USA with proper documentation. What about before the law was strictly enforced ? How do people get the first group panther and veiled in USA? Hmmm.......

    Parsonii Yellow Giant

Dear djfishygillz, This is not a foolish idea. It takes USA so many years to enforced law on smuggling etc. So much money and resources are poured in. If you were a developing country where such resources were not readily available, it is hard to enforce the law. Now the animal already in Asia...

    Parsonii Yellow Giant

I would agree with Ken here. Smuggling are everywhere. Not just in South East Asia. If Veiled and Panther were not smuggled into USA, how can you all be keeping them right now? How many died during the process before some are being shipped legally with proper CITES? Those who survived, sired a...
