Fat tail / tail bulge. Overweight?

Chameleon Info: Your Chameleon - Male Nosy Be, 5.9 months old, in my care for 1.9 months Handling - Once every two weeks for weighing, I usually also keep him outside for an hour on weigh-day to soak up some sun. It's too cold now to do that so I probably will only weigh him until it's warm...

Want to know how much to feed your animal?

P.S. I would *probably* be writing the calculator in a mobile/touch-based javascript framework so you could use it with a webkit browser (safari/chrome) which includes the popular phones like android/idevices That rules out Internet Explorer which is an Internet Destroyer.

Want to know how much to feed your animal?

Hi guys, I am interested in creating the chameleon calculator. I make my living working as a web programmer and I'm quite confident I could produce this if you guys think it would be a worthwhile endeavor. I have a server/database/etc already set up that I could use to host it... I also...

Can you guys help me get the "OK" that I'm all set to care for my baby veiled? :)

Another recommendation I had was to create a bamboo platform at the top of the cage so he can get around to all corners of the top... I did this because all the crickets I've bought (and it has been numerous) immediately start climbing the sides of the cage. Once they get to the top they tend...

Can you guys help me get the "OK" that I'm all set to care for my baby veiled? :)

Hi! I think your chameleon is probably older than a month - if I had to hazard a guess I'd say 3-4 months. I would recommend adding a lot more foliage to the cage. What I did for my 4 month old panther (also in an 18x18x36 cage) to prevent injuries from falling, was add a giant pothos at...

    Little white bugs...

I'd recommend getting rid of them... If it's White Flies they're a hassle. http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7401.html

Double-headed Repti Fogger tube by Zoo Med?

Why do you need a fogger? I read somewhere that providing humidity by hooking a humidifier up to the cage can cause respiratory problems like infection. I'm not an expert... anyone else have insight into this?

    Misting Question

Glad to hear you got a mister! I don't think 10 seconds is long enough... Most people recommend 2-3 minutes (or 5-10 depending on your drainage/quantity of misters) I have 6 misters across 2 cages going for 2 minutes every 3 hours (I would love to do 5 minutes but I'd flood my room) Any...

Constipated Panther Chameleon? (Fecal Matter Pics Inside)

Based on the content of this thread it sounds like you have a full blown case of the Chameleon Virus... Excitement over defecation is one of the symptoms. (I get excited too.)

    Hurricane is coming.

You probably shouldn't have a waterfall in the cage... were you talking about a dripper or something with a pump?
