Another surface that works well for bugs to climb on is to put strips of medical tape on the back of your feeder. It's true that over time it will get dirty, but it comes off easily and you can clean the cup and put new tape down.

Thanks, Jann. :) His greens have been consistent since I added another 'layer' of plants to his FR. He's so big that he needs lots of foliage to 'hide' from me as I bother him every day. lol
