He is awesome!! I have had a Melleri for a little bit now and they are a spectacular species. Very laid back demeanor it seems:)

Lol, they are awesome looking!

I love how he looks content, yet displeased at the same time. :p

He is a beautiful specimen!

Thanks! And you're right - I get the stinkeye whether he's happy or sad. I always tell the vet, "I'm my chameleon's Bitch." lol

Was he flapping his occipital lobes when the pic was taken? Or does his left lobe naturally curl like that?

Al - unfortunately Oscar burned himself somehow on one of his lights. He's on an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory as a result. I blame myself - but honestly can't figure out how he did it for certain. He's such a sloth that I've never seen him leave the FR more than once. Poor thing is gonna have a notch out of the one lobe. I am constantly checking the safety of his FR. It's harder in winter (I'm in Ohio) to keep chameleons due to the need for lights and heat. Makes me insane with worry and this still happened. My panther has his own room and FR also - both keep me busy!

Wendy, It's amazing how much he has grown. He looks great. I'm loving his happy greens. :)

Thanks, Jann. :) His greens have been consistent since I added another 'layer' of plants to his FR. He's so big that he needs lots of foliage to 'hide' from me as I bother him every day. lol
