Also you don't need a water bowl because you probably already know that they don't drink from water bowls. Make sure your misting the Cham down twice to 3 times a day!! :)
I would take out the substrate and go to Walmart and buy a umbrella plant for like 12 dollars. The basking area for a baby needs to be about 85-90. Also I would go to the hardware store and buy lamp fixtures for your bulbs.... (You don't want them on the inside of your cage because they could...
I would probably get a taller cage, but everything else seems correct. He'll probably learn and correct himself. Sometimes my veiled falls and looks stunned when hes at the bottom but he usually learns not to climb on the part he fell.
Yeah, I wouldn't feed him that much at that age. as for the eye if it continues, put him in the shower with the water at about luke warm, have it spray the wall and mist off onto a plant have him sit on the plant and he should get whatever is bothering him out of his eye.
Is your cage glass? If so he might see himself in the reflection and get pissy! But other than that my veiled sometimes gasps in a huge breath of air... I'm sure it's normal though!!!
I stand in the shower with mine and if the water is hitting them in the face they naturally close their eyes.... I never leave them unsupervised in fear of them falling! just stay close
Yeah you could even go longer with the shower... Maybe 15 min. My chams don't drink at first but soon they will relax and take in the raindrop sized drops off the side of the wall... The water should be luke warm
