Only 33 more eggs in this clutch to go! One boy and 2 girls so far I do believe hehehe. .
Not the greatest pic but these 2 where born today and both girls.
He likes to chill with me while I do dishes and such. So I put him near the running tap and found this is one of the only ways he will drink. It's this or I have to hold him and spray him and my hand which he licks the water off of lol.
We have one that's now indented but not moldy and only started to indent 2 days ago. Mind you it's looking a tad shrivelled. I'm not sure if its a dud or if its hatching or dead :(.
This may have been asked before so I'm sorry if it has.
Today it has been 7 months for our first clutch of 40 veiled eggs. One hatched yesterday but nothing since. Is this normal? How long does it generally take for a full clutch to come out of the eggs?
I'm getting nervous and feel bad for...
Thanks for the advice. I've been looking stuff up online for the last well, 7 months and to be honest I'd rather hear from someone who's done it lol.
Cheers!
Our veileds rarely hiss or puff up so I'm thankful to say I've yet to be bitten. Intact they are the only reptile that hasn't bitten me...yet. Both male and female have caught me with their tongues tho. The male went for my eyeball. Thank god I wear glasses!
So our house is quite cool... 16 C or 60 F which ever. Just wondering what everyone would recommend as a set up for the hatchlings aka: tank or bin? Which size for either. How many per container? Lights and how hot they should be.
I read misting 3 times a day and a FF culture are necessary...
Our veiled laid her first clutch June 18th ... Been waiting for them to hatch and today almost 7 months exactly one lil one is wandering around in the eggs. Haha I'm still way to excited about this. Now just waiting to see if the other 40 hatch, and better yet..why! Lol
