you said that you offered the pinhead? are you talking about hand feeding?if so then he could be afraid of you, just put them in the cup and leave him be.
i had a male do this too. i read on a thread to supplement more vitamin A so i did and after about a week he started to open his eyes. Just my experience dont take my word that this will be a sure shot cure, just an idea.
