Yes thats the correct bulb but if you are getting a 24 inch enclosure then get a 22 inch buld with a 24 inch fixture

Did the other owners have any form of uvb on him?

Just make sure that when you get him inside he has the correct lighting and all that good stuff other than that good luck with your GORGEOUS chameleon
