Well..... Is it at night? Or during the day? Also, Jackson's shouldn't be given supplements everyday. They are more sensitive to them then say, a panther or veiled.

Never put lights inside the enclosure. Ever. Unless it's surrounded by like, chicken wire or something. You can simply buy a bulb that puts out higher UVB and avoid the chicken wire and hassle of hanging a light inside the enclosure, but yes, that is true. Mesh filters out a lot of UVB.
