Hey guys I just recently found this new fixture made by zoomed. Has anyone used something similar to this setup? What are y'alls thoughts on this? For some reason I couldn't find this product for sale so i decided to make my own version of this lol. I bought a three LED strip fixture that is made for aquariums and is the equivalent to typical fluorescent lighting and the reptisun T5 HO fixture.

I was looking for something bright enough to help out the hibiscus that I just added to his enclosure. I was thinking that the LED's might be way too bright for our chams eyes though.

LED does not produce UVB. However they are great for plant growth and are not too bright for chams. I have one in my setup. For UVB, stick with T5HO linear fluorescents from lightyourreptiles.com

Never put lights inside the enclosure. Ever. Unless it's surrounded by like, chicken wire or something. You can simply buy a bulb that puts out higher UVB and avoid the chicken wire and hassle of hanging a light inside the enclosure, but yes, that is true. Mesh filters out a lot of UVB.

Yeah that's why I picked up a UVB T5 HO and a LED fixture. I was just worried about the bright light from the LED's hurting my chams eyes. And to junglefries I would love to keep my little dude outside, but jacksons can't stand hot Houston heat. I only take him out in fall and spring time.
